join a community group

We have a variety of different Community Groups that we offer to fit different needs, and we encourage you to start one if there isn’t one that interests you.

New groups will be announced twice a year during Group Sunday. Once you've completed the community group training, your group will be promoted on the website, Church Center App, and other promotional channels.

The primary focus of Community Groups is to form strong relationships with other believers with a secondary emphasis on education. These groups are designed to foster personal discipleship as members talk with others about life and faith on a consistent basis.

If you love the Lord and are committed to being a part of the Vintage Family we ask that you go to the Lord and see if He would have you lead a group. If his answer is "Yes!" then let us partner with you by training, equipping, and supporting you in your journey starting a group. We are more than happy to provide materials and curriculum. If you have concerns about leading a group and need training, you can contact matt.doherty@vintagecitychurch.com

Childcare is up to each group. Our groups meet in homes typically, so there may be a solution your group leader(s) have thought through, or you may be asked to find your own solution for child care.
