APPLY TO LEAD
VIEW GROUPS
Are you considering starting a group? If God is leading you to start a new group, the process is easy. Please review the Qualities of a Group Leader document below, and upon your willingness to align with these qualifications, please apply below. Our team will be in touch with you soon after!
New groups can begin at any time. Once your group is formally launched, your group will be listed throughout various ministry pages and communication channels to promote awareness.
We believe that every believer's life is to be centered around the person of Jesus. The purpose of Community Groups is to create an opportunity to pursue discipleship by joining a community of other believers. These groups foster discipleship through the devotions of worship, prayer, the study of scripture, or a sacrament of the church (gathering in community for shared meals, bread & cup, and the building up of marriages and / or families).
If you love the Lord and are committed to being a part of the Vintage Family we ask that you go to the Lord and see if He would have you lead a group. If his answer is "Yes!" then let us partner with you by training, equipping, and supporting you in your journey starting a group. We are more than happy to provide materials and curriculum. If you have concerns about leading a group and need training, you can email corefunctions@vintagecitychurch.com.
Childcare is up to each group. Our groups meet in homes typically, so there may be a solution your group leader(s) have thought through, or you may be asked to find your own solution for child care.
As groups are started they will be added to Church Center. Feel free to reach out to group leaders through our app. We will also have Community Group Sunday in the Spring and Fall where you will be able to meet group leaders in person after our gatherings to find out which Community Group is the right fit for you.
