The Invitation to Love

In Romans 15, we see that many troubles tested the people of Macedonia, who were very poor. Through their struggles and poverty, they gave what they had.

It’s not wrong to have dreams, plans, and desires, but God’s way may include detours that lead us to His ultimate goal and purpose.

The Holy Spirit changes us from within. Even in times of difficulty and lack of faith, there is a spiritual solution to our earthly problems.

When Abraham, in Genesis, asked God for a child, God promised him that he would be the Father of Nations.

Pastor Gary helped us to understand the process of walking in preference of others. It starts by resisting entitlement by trusting in the sovereignty of God.

Refusing the rights we believe we deserve, being willing to suffer for the benefit of others, and laying down our lives in in servics–this is the way of Jesus.

The impossible is made possible by God. He will never call us to do something He has not done first.

Our unhealed past and brokenness can hinder the freedom we have in Christ. As soon as you confront and give up your inner narrative to God, then you have the freedom in Him to welcome other people with love and joy.

God can handle your opinions and preferences, but we must be careful about how they affect others around us.

There is a way we serve Jesus that pleases God. Therefore, the Kingdom of God is not based upon my preferences or choices, but The Kingdom of God is the reality that I belong to and is led by Jesus.

The Church is Christ’s eternal reward, so let us love, give, serve, and participate in unifying and edifying rather than dividing our preferable matters.

Jesus died so humanity had a pathway back to being His image bearers. It was the cross that secured our path back to Him.

“The day will come when Eternity will become reality. What areas in your life are you not yielding to God? Judgement Day will come and we will stand accountable for how we lived our lives for Him. His goal for us is to have the attitude that, “Apart from God, we are nothing.”

The way we live is to prove what we believe. We have to let go of this idea that we know it’s there, but we’re not going to live it. There’s no power in that life. There’s no anointing in that life. There’s no supernatural in that life.

In Romans 14:1-12, Paul charges mature believers to cease quarreling over disputable matters by focusing instead on the indisputable attributes of God.
